What Did Martin Luther King and Albert Camus Have To Say About Capital Punishment?

"Capital punishment is the most premeditated of murders, to which no criminal's deed, however calculated, can be compared. For there to be an equivalency, the death penalty would have to punish a criminal who had warned his victim of the date at which he would inflict a horrible death on him and who, from that moment onward, had confined him at his mercy for months. Such a monster is not encountered in private life." ~Albert Camus~

" I do not think that God approves the death penalty for any crime, rape and murder included. Capital Punishment is against the better judgment of modern criminology, and, above all, against the highest expression of love in the nature of God." -Martin Luther King.
‎"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." --Martin Luther King, Jr

It's my opinion that capital punishment exists because the elites want it to exist. You and I are being conditioned to accept that a government can and will murder it's citizens at it's own whims. If you look very far into the case of Cameron Todd Willingham, here in Texas; than you'll see that evidence of guilt regarding the crime for which the government executes you isn't even required.
Sadly, Rick Perry was again re-elected as governor of the Great State of Texas. There's little doubt that that death chamber assembly line will be rolling along as usual, and that state sponsored murder of the governed by it's government will continue to set the tone for future government oppression and violence against it's own citizenry. But never you mind that, is'n't Dancing With The Stars on?
It is my position that the fourth, and unofficial arm of our government, the mass media, a corrupt organization of elitist gangsters have the exact goal of lulling you into a waking, yet sleep filled delusion of materialism and greed-so that you can be just like them, and not care as your rights and liberties are slowly being stripped away from you-but please, go back to sleep-isn't it time for another season ofAmerican Idol and Kate Plus Eight?

But don't worry about this too much, dear citizens, isn't it football season? I thought so.
